God speaks to us in our own language so we can understand

God speaks to us in our own language so we can understand. Good communication requires us to know who we are speaking to and how to speak in a way they can understand.
Jesus Teaching Apostle Friends

We must communicate in the same language as our audience because Jesus Christ did the same when teaching the apostles.

On the same side, Doctrine and Covenants 1:24, God said: "Behold, I am God and have spoken it; these commandments are of me, and were given unto my servants in their weakness, after the manner of their language, that they might come to understanding."

Furthermore, when the Lord commands us to apply His commandment, He gives us a clear meaning in our language to delve into our understanding. God is a good communicator, which is why He helps us understand what He wants us to believe by clarifying His input to get better output from us.

Let's take the Lord as an example and think deeply about the audience you want to reach with your writing. Do you speak their language? Do you know their educational background? Or do you understand their behaviors? If not, please take that time to speak their language before following your writing.
